Boston Farm and Trade School Administration Building is completed.

Architect: Charles Bulfinch. Construction of the building was supported by a bequest from John Williams, who stipulated that it always to be painted green, a tradition adhered to for years until the paint is removed and the brick allowed to remain unpainted.
